When the Christian tradition is viewed in the light of the powers of the Universe,
a new appreciation of the role of humanity is birthed. These eleven sessions will
unfold the ten “powers” at work in the universe and within you: concentration
and exhilaration, attraction, creativity, maintaining achievement, destruction,
working together, changing the self, changing the whole, care and magnificence.
In the words of Brian Swimme, on whose work this class will be based,
“The cosmological powers of the Universe are coursing through us moment
by moment. To become aware of these powers is to touch the source of life.”
