WALKING WITH GOD IN THE SACRED UNIVERSE

PART I

Thursdays, beginning September 16

How does science inform our theology and our faith, and bring deeper understanding to our spiritual perspective? This introductory class, facilitated by Bridget Sperduto, will provide an insight into the God of the Universe, the God “within,” the God who is closer to us than we might dare to imagine. The story of creation will come alive and bring new theological understanding and meaning into your life. And, in discovering the unity between theological understandings and modern day breakthroughs in the world of science, you will experience more deeply the oneness of God in our amazing universe.

PART II

Thursdays, beginning October 21
9:30 - 11:00 AM

and continuing Oct 21, 28; and Nov 4, 11.

This Sacred Universe class builds on the insights from Part I, and will explore the role of the human in the Universe Story, introduce some aspects of the Earth Charter (an international declaration of fundamental values and principles for building a just, sustainable, and peaceful global society in the 21st century), and explore the invitation for the evolution of consciousness.
